Dear Prasanna Kumar
I have read your message. Personally I do not mind if you attack any clergy who interferes in politics. It is not there cup of tea.
But there are so many misquoting from your side on Bible verses, for which as a Christian I ought to reply.
Let us begin from Mathew 10: 34-35. Here you have only quoted half part of a conversation. If you read from verse 32 you will understand that Jesus was telling that, there will be two kind of people. One who supports him, and the other one who opposes him. It even can happen within a house. This is why he said because of him there will be fighting.
Luke 22: 6 Jesus words at Luke 22:36, Let the one having no sword sell his outer garment and buy one, would not indicate that his disciples were about to enter into a hazardous life. Rather, he desired to have a sword available among his followers on that night in order to demonstrate clearly that, though they would come into circumstances that could easily provoke armed resistance, he did not intend to resort to the sword but would give himself up voluntarily in harmony with Gods will. Thus, when Peter did react and try to put up armed resistance, lopping off the ear of Malchus, Jesus ordered him: Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword. (Mt 26:52; Joh 18:10, 11)
Luke 19: 27 This was a parable which speaks about second coming of Jesus. Please read from verse 11 onwards.
So, Prsanna Kumar, I completely accept your right to protest against any thing, but please do not misquote some thing in order to win readers heart. This is not at all agreeable.
Love
