RE: To ABC

RE: To ABC

ABC Said: "How do you know that your parents are really your parents? Have you proven it scientifically? How do you know that your sister is real? Have you proven it scientifically?"

My Comment: Good Question. When my parents claim they are my biological parents, I don't feel it as an extra ordinary claim and there is no reason to doubt them. As long as they love/care me I am satisfied. Even if there is a doubt it can be easily proven through a DNA test. But that is not the case of religious books. They assert extra ordinary claims without any evidences. Those cannot be tested too.

OK, for the sake of argument let us assume that one cannot know his biological parents. Please let me know how this will prove that Bible is the truth.

More over you are using a logical fallacy here called Red Herring. Wikipedia says "A red herring is an argument, given in reply, that does not address the original issue. Critically, a red herring is a deliberate attempt to change the subject or divert the argument."

As you can see you were not addressing my original comments and my parents/sister question has nothing to do with whether the Bible is true or not.

ABC said: "So you do belive manythings in this world without proving scientifically...Correct?"

My Comment: Nope. I do not believe anything; I just want to know things. That's all.
