Selfish, Ignorant Keraliates

Selfish, Ignorant Keraliates

I always had a feeling that the Keraliates are not capable of critical thinking.
They are not clear about what is freedom and what are their rights.
The current happenings in Kerala confirms that my thinking is right.
It is clear that the 7 th standard social studies book is a communist propoganda.
With full of communist party strikes, strike against feudalism (of communist party), mention about land ordinance bill, it is evident that they trying to bias the book towards communism. But these religious fanatic people are shouting for a non existing thing.

Remember though communists are atheists the chapter 'Mathamillatha Jeevan' is no way against religion. In that the father says his kid does not have a religion. Let he decide for himself when he is capable of it.I do not understand how this is antireligion. Rather this is a very good point. I am taking Richard Dawkin's words here."Calling a child as hindu child/catholic child/moslem child is a real child abuse. He/She is too young to understand what is a religious ideology.By calling them hindu child/catholic child/moslem child you are labelling the children. You don't call a child as marxist child/bjp child/congress child/muslim league child. Why?In reality he/she is the kid of a hindu parents/catholic parents/moslem parents".It is true that we have become Hindu/Christian/Muslim not by critical thinking but by the childhood brainwash.By the time we reach adulthood it is very difficult to get out of the childhood brainwash. So better do not the label the child with a religion. Let him decide by himself when he reaches the age of reason.

The unfortunate point is people are not seeing the real danger in the chapter 3. I never heard anybody talking about this. There is a cartoon in that chapter in which a character says "I am citizen of democratic India and I have every freedom to do what ever I want to do on my land".Also the cartoon shows a bunch of jobless people who conducts a jadha saying "krishi bhoomi tharisinidunnathu thadayuka".A scooter guy is saying "Dont these guys have any other jobs". What it implies is the strikers are doing the right thing by saying a farmer does not have the right to do what ever he wants on his private land.Don't people see violation of rights here.I am surprised by seeing nobody even talk about this. Guys this is a basic human right issue for you, me and any body who loves freedom and democracy. It is a communist idea that all lands belong to the government, not a free democratic idea. The basic of communism itself is destruction of private properties and keep every thing under government control. What that chapter says is that you do not have freedom on your land. Somebody else will tell you what to do on your private property. As a supporter of democracy and a freedom lover I see a huge danger here. Not only in the chapter but in the ignorance of the people.

I am quoting George Carlin here. "If you have selfish, ignorant people you will get selfish, ignorant polititions (In our case a political system such as communism)"
