Dowry

Dowry

I agree with some of your concepts. However, answer me on the following questions:
1. You claim that marriage happens once in life time,is it a universal truth?. There are people who married over 10 times in life, may not be in Kerala.
2. When a marriage takes place in Kerala, the woman take ownership of the entire wealth of the husband (jointly)that he inherited from his parents. How do you justify that?
3. Why the wealth of the parents are not shared equally with the children. If there are 2 sons and 2 daughters, usually the sons inherit the wealth of the parents, why not the daugters too (you may call it Dowry)

Jayaraj, be honest to yourself, don't be a hypocrat. I respect equality of women with men in every aspect. I don't promote Dowry as a condition of marriage, but I don't accept discrimination in sharing wealth/inherittance among children.
