Almost all those who have fallen in love at some stage in his/her life would have undertaken a similar journey to a fantasy world as candidly portrayed by the poet here. However, the poet appears to use the journey and the various conditioning steps during the journey as a metaphor to drive home the point that for a woman even the mildest form of physical love will become desirable only when the prakrithi around her has woken up the romantic in her.
An apt reminder at a time when love has become more physical than emotional, more convenience than commitment, especially on the eve of Valentine�s Day.
