colleges. All others have 194 schools and 42 colleges.If this is correct He is totally
directing the problem to wrong direction. Why the Christians have these 3200 schools
and 177 college. Because they started this education institution long before others
entering this fields. So every One has to appreciate their forsight in this subject. I invite your attentio to this current situation of self financing Education
Institutions. In 2001 Goverment of Mr. A.K.Antony has given NOC to all who applied
for self financing engineering and Medical colleges, with out any preferences. He has
given permission to all who satisfied prescribed condition, with out any cast or religious
consideration. Out of that set AIMS Kochi started the first Medical College in that set.
(Except in the case of two Medical colleges Pariyarram and Cochin Co-Operative
Colleges). Other seven or Eight Medical colleges are started in that set. In that set One is
Belongs to MES (Muslims), Five belongs to christians (Karallonam, Pushpagiri,
Kolenchery,Jubily, etc.....).Out of that set the Christians have highest number of Medical
colleges. Why ?. Why the Corporate educational agencies Like NSS Changanachey,
SNDP Quilon etc; is not starting a Medical Colleges. They having the NOC to start for
Medical Colleges, along with other Medical colleges. But till now These agencies are not
started the Medical colleges.If this NSS or SNDP if lacking from finance to start a
medical colleges. No, they are not interested to take the pain to start a medical college. The Management of these medical colleges are taking how much pain to start and run
such an instituion. Why these NSS and SNDP not running such institution. As a society we have to encorage all these newly instituions, in every aspects, we have to
back them. After five year we will take the number, then also we have christians have
higher number of medical colleges, why, because they started Medical colleges and
others have not started. Before harrasing Christian management, please consider the following
information. In 2002 , In the NSS Budget meeting Venue, NSS general sectretary, Mr:
Panikkar declared in that Budget meeting, "Why NSS is not starting the medical college,
because it is financially not viable. So NSS is kept freezed that NOC". The land
propposed for Medical college is NSS estate Karukachaal. Medical college is finacially
not viable and NSS re-planted that estate with NEW Rubber RRII-105 and other high
yielding variety.Rubber is financially very good than a medical college. So NSS is having
a good Rubber estate than a medical college. The other communities is not starting the instituions, the gap will be widening.
