I was tempted to post a comment after reading this.
There is no point in blaming the system or politicians. All those (unlucky) 'Sivankutty's should think about what happens to their family and friends they leave behind�. before getting emotionally involved into things that they can't deal with.
You can�t do things alone. Raju Narayansswami failed. Abdul Kalam failed. Sivankutty, you don't stand chance. Our Sivankutty in the story hasn't even seen the face of his baby. Does anyone want to be Sivanutty in real life? I don't think so. Then play safe.
Also, as the story ends, I don�t think it is too far from being true where we would be watching sponsored real rape scenes with people's face covered for legal reasons but victim's face is clear with identifying details.
