We have had lots of stories on parents being a burden to children, but here is a story of a son who is actually cornered into a situation by circumastances whereby he is forced to take the father to a nursing home. Our protagonist is a victim of life itself - a very touching picture of a family, all affected in their own ways by the disease. As a subtle irony, there are no villains, except the big, bad life itself.
A well written story intermingling with nuances of nostalgia, pathos and above all a realistic portrayal of human life. The language is mature and fresh.
