These all Malayalam channels grew to their now state only because of the heartfull support from the viewers and after being giants accepted by the society, they are squeezing the same society for making heap of money. These channels which is transformed to pay channels are the channels with maximum advertisement benefit from Kerala.Thus their argument of having huge investment and which can't be met only with add-profit ,is simply a lie. Without even that much earnings there are other channels in Kerala which broadcast in a better way. Moreover it is significant to mention that the first private channel Asianet came to an existence only a huge support from Kerala govt also,Which gave permission to use the electric posts for their signal wiring. Lakhs of power transmitting posts-that w! as the base of Asianet,and which was nothing other than a support from the Govt and people. But later the management had their own dreams on money heaps,that was the end of peaceful co-operation between viewers, broadcasters and cable providers in Kerala.
You can simply sense the same viewpoint in the sell of Asianet to an external agency who has nothing other than their profits to care about....
