Let me first give the meanings of five simple Malayalam words that my well wisher Shri Sethu Raman does not want to understand either due to his ignorance of our vernacular or due to his ill-feeling against a flourishing and practicing poet like me :
Pathithapaavanan = Redeemer of the Downtrodden
Uttarashramam = Later stage
Vaalanpuzhu = A worm with a tail (A man with a tail will have some difficulties in appreciating such simple words. Only Lord Rama will be able to help him. Goddess Saraswati cannot.
Nizhal = Shade (Thanal)
Mayaavi = Trickster (Chatiyan), Magician (Kankettukaran)
Regarding some important ideas highlighted in the poem Vadiyum Methiyadiyum, Shri Sethu Raman has grossly distorted them to suit his vested interest i.e. to tarnish my image and to insult my beloved readers whose support partly inspires me.
Blood-stained fake currency notes: Here the allusion is towards terrorist activities rampant in the contemporary world. It is estimated that today India has in circulation fake currency notes worth Rs 1,69,000 crores.
Daridranarayante kaalathinnue Ootta veenirikkunnu: This means the poor became poorer and the rich richer.
The last stanza of the poem speaks of simplicity that we lack in our political and social life. If we have to attain liberation whether political or spiritual, we have to begin from the beginning. That is be simple. Once Gandhijis PS spent a few rupees on purchasing file covers for which he was fired by G the boss on the plea that old newspapers could well be used as file covers and as such the expenditure incurred was grossly unwarranted.
Further, usage of words like Mahatma and Gandhi separately in a single stanza shows the split of soul suffered by Gandhiji during the last stage of his life. In the spiritual realm he was an utter failure whereas in the power-monger group he was an outcast. G closed his accounts with life by simply uttering Hey Ram. If he was a self-realised soul, he would have had kept mum instead of trying to shoot an incomplete complaint to the Almighty.
To the last line of Shri Sethu Ramans comments, I say unto him six simple words :
Sir, You will not be disappointed.
