Thanks for liking the poem RAMASETHU and also for extending wishes to its writer.
I appreciate your view point. Once the poem is published, a poet should take a firm stand - If a reader likes it, let him/her take it or if a reader does not like it, the poet should leave it there.
Nevertheless a poem is not 2 + 2 = 4. I have not originally published the poem with a running commentary. It was a later addition due to provocation from some quarters. If my commentary helps somebody to appreciate the poem in a better way or clear the doubts in some minds or wards off the evil feeling, I feel my attempt would be justified.
Your other suggestion is well noted.
