പാലിയേക്കര കൊട്ടാരംലേഖകന്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ച, ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളുടെ ബ്രാഹ്മണഭ്രമം വളരെ കലശല്‍ ആയിരിക്കുന്നത് തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍ ഭാഗത്താണ്. പ്രസിദ്ധ ചരിത്രകാരനായിരുന്ന തിരുവല്ല ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന്‍ നായര്‍ പല ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെയും consultant ആയി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഒരിക്കല്‍ കോഴഞ്ചേരി ഭാഗത്തുള്ള പ്രമുഖനായ ഒരു ക്രിസ്ത്യാനി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സമീപിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു: "ഞങ്ങളു�! �െ കുടുംബം ഏതാണ്ട് ആയിരം വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുന്‍പാണ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. തിരുവല്ലയിലെ പാലിയേക്കര കൊട്ടാരത്തിലെ ഒരു തമ്പുരാന്‍ ആണ് സ്ഥാപകന്‍. പല പ്രമുഖരായ ആളുകളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബത്തില്‍ പിറന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതൊക്കെ വച്ച് സാര്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബ ചരിത്രം എഴുതാന്‍ സഹകരിക്കുമോ ?". ചരിത്രകാരന്റെ മറുപടി ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു: "പാലിയേക്കര കൊട്ടാരം പണിതിട്ട് ഇരുനൂറില്‍ ചില്വാനം വര്‍ഷങ്ങ! ള്‍ മാത്രമേ ആയിട്ടുള്ള! ൂ. അവിടുന്ന് ഒരാള്‍ എങ്ങിനെ ആയിരം വര്‍ഷം മുന്‍പ് കോഴഞ്ചേരിയില്‍ എത്തി കുടുംബം സ്ഥാപിക്കും?". വന്നയാള്‍ക്ക് കാര്യം മനസ്സിലായി. എങ്കിലും അയാള്‍ ഒരു ശ്രമം കൂടി നടത്തി."ഇതൊന്നും ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ. സാര്‍ അങ്ങിനെയൊന്നെഴുതിത്തന്നാല്‍ അത് അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെടും." അതിനു തന്നെ കിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് ശ്രീ നായര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതോടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ മറ്റു വഴികള്‍ നോക്കിക്കൊള്ളാം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ക�! �ഴഞ്ചേരിയിലെ 'രാജകുടുംബാംഗം" സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു. പിന്നീട് അയാള്‍ ഈ നുണക്കഥ ചേര്‍ത്ത് കുടുംബപുരാണം തീര്‍ത്തതായി കേട്ടു. ഇത് ശ്രീ ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന്‍ നായര്‍ എന്നോട് നേരിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞതാണ്. ചരിത്രകാരനല്ലെങ്കിലും ആ വിഷയത്തില്‍ താല്‍പ്പര്യമുള്ളതിനാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ ചില ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ ചരിത്രം വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എല്ലാത്തിലും സ്ഥാപകന്‍ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്‍! അന്യം നിന്ന ഇല്ലങ്ങളില്‍ താ�! ��സിച്ച് അഥവാ ഇല്ലങ്ങള്‍ വാ! ങ്ങിച്ച്, അതേ വീട്ടുപേര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ബ്രാഹ്മണ പൂര്‍വികത പറഞ്ഞു വീമ്പിളക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ തിരുവല്ല, ചെങ്ങന്നൂര്‍, കോട്ടയം, മാവേലിക്കര ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ ധാരാളമുണ്ട്. പഴയ കാലത്ത് ഒരാള്‍ വീട് വിറ്റാലും പറമ്പിന്റെ പേര്‍ മാറ്റുവാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലായിരുന്നു. ചിലര്‍ ഇത് ശരിക്കും മുതലെടുത്തു.ഇവരില്‍ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളും ഹിന്ദുക്കളും ഉണ്ട്. ഇടപ്പള്ളി രാജാവിന്റെ ആശ്രിതനായി ! കല്ലൂപ്പാറ യില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരാളുടെ പിന്‍ഗാമികള്‍ "ഇടപ്പള്ളി രാജവംശജ"രായി കൊട്ടിഘോഷിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇടപ്പള്ളി രാജവംശം ബ്രാഹ്മണര്‍ (നമ്പ്യാതിരിമാര്‍) ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ. കവിയൂര്‍ ഗ്രാമത്തിലും ഇതുപോലെ "ഇടപ്പള്ളി രാജവംശജര്‍" ഉണ്ട്. ഈ പൂതി എന്നു തീരുമെന്തോ?

യുവപ്രതിഭകളെ എഴുത്തിലേക്കാകര്‍ഷിക്കാന്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും പദ്ധതി നമുക്കുണ്ടോ? കഴിവുള്ളവരെ കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ നാം എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ ?വേണ്ട , കഴിവുണ്ടെന്ന് സ്വയം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവരെ സഹായിക്കാനോ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാനോ ഫലപ്രദമായി എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ? എഴുതാന്‍ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഏതെങ്കിലും സ്ഥാപനം നമുക്കുണ്ടോ? ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണത്തിലെ കു! റവു കാരണം എഴുത്തുകാരനുണ്ടാകുന്ന പ്രയാസങ്ങള്‍ എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും ഇവിടെ ഉത്തരവാദപ്പെട്ട ആരെങ്കിലും ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
