nostalgia

nostalgianice story indeed....taking back to some memories, especially my first school, the unpaved road from home to the school, paddy fields on either side, ponds, and the small temple..But nothing out there today, rapid urbanization killing everything . Anyway i like to see the skyscrapers coming out there, we must accept the changes happening around us.

കേരളത്തിലെ സ്കൂളുകളില്‍ മാതൃഭാഷയായ മലയാളം നിര്‍ബന്ധമാക്കി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സ്കൂള്‍വളപ്പിനുള്ളില്‍ ഏതെങ്കിലും കുട്ടി മാതൃഭാഷ അറിയാതെ ഉച്ചരിച്ചുപോയാല്‍ പല അണ്‍ എയ്ഡഡ് സ്കൂളുകളിലും കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാണ്.മാതൃഭാഷയെ എന്തിനാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നത് ?ഒരു സമൂഹത്തോട് കാണിക്കാവുന്ന ഏറ്റവും! വലിയ അവഹേളനമാണ് ആ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാഷയെ അപമാനിക്കുക എന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ 22 ഭാഷകളെ (അസമിയ, ബംഗാളി, ഗുജറാത്തി, ഹിന്ദി, കന്നട, കശ്മീരി, മലയാളം, മറാഠി, ഒറിയ, പഞ്ചാബി, സംസ്കൃതം, സിന്ധി, തമിഴ്, തെലുഗു, ഉര്‍ദു, കൊങ്കണി, ഡോഗ്രി, മൈഥിലി, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്, നേപ്പാളി, രാജസ്ഥാനി, മണിപ്പുരി) ദേശീയ ഭാഷകളായി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഭരണഘടന അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിനും സ്വന്തം ഭാഷയെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷ! യായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാന്‍�! �� അവകാശമുണ്ട്.എല്ലാ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെയും മാതൃ ഭാഷകളെ Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act,1971 ഉൾപെടുത്തി ,മാതൃഭാഷകളെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരെ സർക്കാർ നിയമ നടപടി എടുക്കേണ്ടതാണ് .
