I have read the above said article and also read Mr. Abu's comments. I understood from this article that malayalees are respecting every job; but they are not ready to work in kerala only. They will do the same job (like wash the Marvadi's konakam) in outside kerala like Gulf and European countries, because they will get enough money. If the mallus are not respecting every job; they will not do this type of jobs in abroad. For getting money they will do anything (e.g. Santhosh Madhavan, Himaval Bhadranandan etc.)

I know lot of mallus are staying in Labour camp here in Dubai. But they are living and getting more respect in their villages; because of money. In my opinion mallus are ready to work white collar jobs in kerala only.

This story was very impressive... After finishing my reading my eyes and mind drop out. Seriously.. Because we are like ur charracters... Our family having achan, amma,chettan, aniyan njan. Right now my native have father and mother.They are gov: employees. me and brothers still bachelor..

After reading this article I did thinked about my parents future...

I do not think politics should be a service (I assume by service you meant working without looking for money). It is similar to any other job where you do your work efficiently and get paid. Every human has a tendency to earn money and grow further.There might be people who does work without looking for money. But as a society we should elect people who are efficient and have good vision to develop our society. I think this is where we lack. We think by heart, not by brain. Infact if you look for service you lack efficiency. And there is no reason why politics should be a service.
