I liked the poem Onaththappane kathu.Kunjamini of this poem is a symbol of all who lives in anticipation. In the days of long ago Malayalees firmly believed that Mahabali will visit them Onam day unseen and unheard. Now everyone knows it is only a myth. In this poem you have shown how someone can make our life hell. Kunjamini had lost everything while asleep. Sleep may be a symbol of ignorance. Now she has no escape except to wait for the man who did harm to her. But , will he come? When we do mistake when others inflict pain and trouble to us we all turn to prayer. Here the poet is praying to Vishnu. Why Vishnu?I think you know that Vishnu had actually pushed down the Mahabali a beneficient king to the nether land. I think you want to convey that we have to forgive those who do harm to us and wait for them to welcome. Then again you indicate that their arrival may be uncertain so pray.

The poem is shown the plight of weak and ignorant in the society who are exploited by the rich and powerful. Those poor people have no choice but to live in anticipation.

Puzha has given a good illustration to the poem. They depicted a sage and not the picture of Mahabali. Sages can grant boon and Kunjamini needs one.

[എന്താണ് പ്രശ്നമെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാവുന്നില്ല] ജന്മസിദ്ധമായ മടികളഞ്ഞ് ഇന്നു പുഴവഴിതന്നെ തപ്പിപ്പിടിച്ച് കയറി. ലേഖനങ്ങളെല്ലാം വായിച്ചു.

നന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നതില്‍ അര്‍ത്ഥമില്ല എന്നറിയാം. പ്രകൃതിയുടെ താളത്തിനനുസരിച്ച് സാമൂഹ്യജീവിതത്തില്‍ (തൊഴില്‍ വസ്ത്രധാരണം വാസസ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്) വരുന്ന ഭാവഭേദങ്ങളും കുടുംബത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ജീവിതക്രമീകരണത്തില്‍ വരുന്ന സൂക്ഷ്മവ്യതിയാനങ്ങളുമെല്ലാം വര്‍ണ്ണചിത്രങ്ങളാകുന്ന വരികള്‍. എല്ലാറ്റിനുമൊടുവില്‍ (ഏതോ ഒരുകുറിപ്പിലൊഴികെ)ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ചലനമാപകമാകുന്നത് അമ്മയും മക്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഹൃദയസംവാദമാണ്. അര്‍ത്ഥപൂര്‍ണമായ ജീവിതവീക്ഷണത്തിനുമപ്പുറം തുടിക്കുന്ന ജീവന്‍ കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നു ആ നിമിഷങ്ങള്‍. വാനില്‍ നിന്നു മുഖം നോക്കി സരസ്സിലേക്ക് തെന്നിവീഴുന്ന മേഘം പോലെ ദര്‍ശനം കവിതയിലേക്ക് വഴുതിവീഴുന്നുണ്ടിടക്കിടെ. ഇനിയെന്തു പറയാന്‍... നിങ്ങള്‍ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഭാഷ എന്റേതുമായതു പുണ്യം!!!

ഏറ്റവുമിഷ്ടമായ ജീവിതചിത്രം: ഒളിച്ചുകളിക്കിടയില്‍ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കപ്പെട്ട അമ്മയെ കാണുന്നില്ലെന്ന് ഭാവിച്ച് അതിനനുവദിക്കാത്ത ഏട്ടനോട് കലഹിക്കുന്ന കുഞ്ഞുണ്ണി [April]. കണ്ണുനിറഞ്ഞതെന്തോ?

Technology can do lot more to celebrate onam. Atleast there should be an e-commerce site to order 'Onam Sadhya'. May be Google can come up with �Pathalam� option in Google Earth (they already have �sky� option); so that we can locate Mahabhali�s house.

The current stage is more suitable for Vishu, we can do an online money transfer to simulate 'Vishu Kai Neettam'.

പത്രധര്‍മ്മം എന്നാല്‍ സത്യത്തില്‍ ഇതിലെ ശരികളെ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിച്ചുതരിക എന്നല്ലേ. അല്ലാതെ വായനക്കാരുടെ മനസില്‍ സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതെങ്ങിനെ? അവരുടെ ഭാവനയ്ക്ക് അനുസരിച്ചോ? എങ്കില്‍ ഫാരിസ് പറഞ്ഞപോലെ നിങ്ങളും ശീതീകരീച്ച മുറിയിലിരുന്ന് വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. സത്യാവസ്ഥ പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നില്ല.

Difference in OppinionThe oppinion of Mr: C.K. Kodungalloore is redirecting the problem to a wrong direction. For christians have 3200 schools and 177 colleges. Muslims have 140 schoola and 46

colleges. All others have 194 schools and 42 colleges.If this is correct He is totally

directing the problem to wrong direction. Why the Christians have these 3200 schools

and 177 college. Because they started this education institution long before others

entering this fields. So every One has to appreciate their forsight in this subject. I invite your attentio to this current situation of self financing Education

Institutions. In 2001 Goverment of Mr. A.K.Antony has given NOC to all who applied

for self financing engineering and Medical colleges, with out any preferences. He has

given permission to all who satisfied prescribed condition, with out any cast or religious

consideration. Out of that set AIMS Kochi started the first Medical College in that set.

(Except in the case of two Medical colleges Pariyarram and Cochin Co-Operative

Colleges). Other seven or Eight Medical colleges are started in that set. In that set One is

Belongs to MES (Muslims), Five belongs to christians (Karallonam, Pushpagiri,

Kolenchery,Jubily, etc.....).Out of that set the Christians have highest number of Medical

colleges. Why ?. Why the Corporate educational agencies Like NSS Changanachey,

SNDP Quilon etc; is not starting a Medical Colleges. They having the NOC to start for

Medical Colleges, along with other Medical colleges. But till now These agencies are not

started the Medical colleges.If this NSS or SNDP if lacking from finance to start a

medical colleges. No, they are not interested to take the pain to start a medical college. The Management of these medical colleges are taking how much pain to start and run

such an instituion. Why these NSS and SNDP not running such institution. As a society we have to encorage all these newly instituions, in every aspects, we have to

back them. After five year we will take the number, then also we have christians have

higher number of medical colleges, why, because they started Medical colleges and

others have not started. Before harrasing Christian management, please consider the following

information. In 2002 , In the NSS Budget meeting Venue, NSS general sectretary, Mr:

Panikkar declared in that Budget meeting, "Why NSS is not starting the medical college,

because it is financially not viable. So NSS is kept freezed that NOC". The land

propposed for Medical college is NSS estate Karukachaal. Medical college is finacially

not viable and NSS re-planted that estate with NEW Rubber RRII-105 and other high

yielding variety.Rubber is financially very good than a medical college. So NSS is having

a good Rubber estate than a medical college. The other communities is not starting the instituions, the gap will be widening.
