എന്താണ് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് എന്ന് മനസിലായി. ആ അഭിപ്രായത്തിനോടും ആശയത്തിനോടും ഒട്ടും വിയോജിപ്പുമില്ല.

ജി ആര്‍ എഴുതിയത് പലതും വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇത്രയ്ക്ക് മോശമായ ഒരു കവിത ആദ്യമായി കാണുകയാണ്‌. കവിതയെന്ന് വിളിക്കുവാന്‍ ചില അടിസ്ഥാന മര്യാദകളെങ്കിലും പാലിക്കേണ്ടേ? പ്രാസമൊപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി വാക്കുകള്‍ പലതും സ്യഷ്ടിച്ചെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നില്ല.

സമ്പന്നമായ സാഹിത്യവാസനയുടെ വികലമായ ആവിഷ്സമ്പന്നമായ സാഹിത്യവാസനയുടെ വികലമായ ആവിഷ്കരണം എന്ന് മാത്രമേ ഈ കഥയെ വിലയിരുത്താന്‍ സാധിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. മതത്തെയും അതിന്റെ വിശ്വാസ സംഹിതകളെയും അങ്ങേയറ്റം മാനിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ഈ രാജ്യത്തു ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള സൃഷ്ടികള്‍ മത വികാരത്തെ മുറിപ്പെടുത്താനും അതുവഴി മനുഷ്യ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പകയുടെ ബീജവിതരണം നടത്താനും മാത്രമേ ഉപകരി! ക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. നന്മയും , തിന്മയും ഓരോ മനുഷ്യന്റെയും ഉള്ളിലുള്ളതാണ്, അവന്‍ വൈദീകനാവട്ടെ, കള്ളനാവട്ടെ സുന്ദരമായ ഒരു പൂവിനെ നോക്കി ഒരുവേള നിന്നേക്കാം ( കടപ്പാട്:കുമാരനാശാന്‍- വീണപൂവ്‌), മനുഷ്യന്‍ എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് ഒരേ സമയം ദൈവീകതയുടെയും , പൈശാചികതയുടെയും ആകെത്തുകയാണ് , നല്ലതും ചീത്തയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാനുള്ള വിവരവും , തിരിച്ചറിവും ( കഥാകൃത്തിനു ഇല്ലാതെപോയത്) മനുഷ്യന്‍ തന്ന�! �യാണ് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത! ്‌ . പാവനമായി കരുതുന്ന ഒരു ജനതയുടെ വിശ്വാസ സങ്കല്പങ്ങള്‍ക് നേരെയുള്ള ഒരു കടന്നു കയറ്റമാണിത്, നാളെ ഇത് മറ്റുള്ള മതവിശ്വാസികളുടെ അന്തസത്തയിലേക്കും ഒരു കാന്‍സര്‍ ആയി പടര്‍ന്നു കയറിയക്കും . ലൈഗീകത എന്നതു വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു വികാരം മാത്രമാണ് എന്ന് മനസിലാകുന്ന കാലത്തോളം ആ സങ്കല്പത്തെ എല്ലാ വിഷയതോടും കൂട്ടിക്കെട്ടി( ജിലേബിയും , മീന്ച്ചാറൂം കോമ്പിനേഷന്‍ പോല! െ) കഥകളും ഭാവനകളും പൂവിട്ടു വിടരന്നു ഇതുപോലെ ദുര്‍ഗന്ധം പടര്‍ത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.
