എന്തിനു മിറര്‍ സ്കാന്‍

ഒരു വിവാദമുണ്ടാകുന്നത് വാദവും പ്രതിവാദവും ഉയരുമ്പോഴാണ്. വാദവും പ്രതിവാദവും വിഷയത്തിന്റെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ തലത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചാകുമ്പോള്‍ വിവാദം കാമ്പും കഴമ്പും വലിയ ഉത്തരങ്ങളും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. ഖേദകരമെന്നു പറയട്ടെ, ഇവിടെ മിറര്‍സ്കാന്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന പല വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഗുണപരമായ പ്രതിവാദങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല എന്നതാണു സത്യം(ഇതിനെ ഗൌരവമായ വശത്തോടെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചില വായനക്കാര്‍ ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് കുറച്ചേറെ ആശ്വാസം നല്‍കുന്നു). നമുക്കൊക്കെ എഴുതുന്ന ഭാഷയാണ് പ്രശ്നം, പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കൊള്ളരുതായ്മകള്‍ അല്ല. അറപ്പുളവാക്കുന്ന സദാചാരത്തിന്റെ മേലങ്കിയണിഞ്ഞ മനസുകള്‍ക്ക് ചില വര്‍ത്തമാനങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ടാല്‍ ഓക്കാനം വരും എന്നത് പ്രതികരണമില്ലാത്ത നാടിന്റെ ഗതികേടാണ്. മിറര്‍സ്കാനില്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന അസഭ്യപദങ്ങളെന്ന് ചിലര്‍ പറയുന്നവ, അത് ആരെയാണോ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് അവരുടെ വ്യക്തിപരമായ അവസ്ഥകളെ ബാധിക്കുന്നവയല്ല. എങ്കിലും ചിലരുടെ വ്യക്തിപരമായ ഇടപെടലുകള്‍ അടക്കം പലതും സാമൂഹിക നിലപാടുകളെ സ്വാധീനിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് വിമര്‍ശിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് സ്വാഭാവികം മാത്രം. മിറര്‍സ്കാനിന്റെ വേദി സാമൂഹികരംഗത്തെ ഇടപെടലുകളാണ്. ആ ഇടപെടലുകളില്‍ തെറ്റുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുകയും അതിനെ തിരുത്തുകയുമാണ് എഴുത്തുകാരനേക്കാള്‍ ധാര്‍മ്മികബോധമുള്ള വായനക്കാര്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.

മിറര്‍ സ്കാന്‍ ഒരു അഴുക്കുചാലാണെന്നു കരുതിയാലും തെറ്റില്ല. ഒരു അഴുക്കുചാലിന്റെ ധര്‍മ്മം വളരെ വലുതാണ്. ഒരു നാടിന്റെ അഴുക്കുകള്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ ഒലിച്ചുപോകുന്ന ഇടമാ‍ണിത്. ഒരുപാട് അഴുക്കുകള്‍ മനസിലടച്ചുവെച്ച് വെളുക്കെ ചിരിക്കുന്നവരേക്കാളും ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും ഒരോ അഴുക്കുചാലുകളും. പലയിടത്തും മൂടിവെയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട അഴുക്കുകള്‍ ഒലിച്ചുപോകുന്നത് നമുക്കിവിടെ കാണാം. അതു കാണാനും കുറെ ധൈര്യം വേണം.കാണുമ്പോഴേക്കും ഓക്കാനിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഇതുവഴി വരേണ്ടതില്ല. അവരൊക്കെ പുറമെ വെളുക്കെ ചിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുഖം കണ്ട് ആത്മസംതൃപ്തിയടഞ്ഞോളൂ.

അഹോ മുഖം, അഹോ സ്വരം... എന്നൊരു അവസ്ഥ പുഴക്കില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് പലരും വിളിച്ചുപറയാന്‍ മടിക്കുന്നവ ഈ മാഗസിന്റെ പല പേജുകളിലും വെളിച്ചം കാണുന്നത്. മിറര്‍ സ്കാന്‍ എന്ന ഒരു പംക്തിയില്‍ മാത്രം ഒതുങ്ങുന്നതല്ല പുഴ മാഗസിന്‍. ഇതിന് പല കൈവഴികളുണ്ട്. അതിലൊന്നു മാത്രമാണു മിറര്‍ സ്കാന്‍. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഷ അശ്ലീലമായി കാണുന്നവര്‍, ആദ്യം എതിര്‍ക്കേണ്ടത് ഇതിലും അശ്ലീലമായി സമൂഹത്തില്‍ ഇടപെടുന്നവരെയാണ്. ചീഞ്ഞു പുഴുവരിക്കുന്ന മൃതദേഹത്തില്‍ പട്ട് പുതപ്പിച്ച്അതു കൊണ്ട് കാര്യമില്ല. നമുക്കാ പട്ട് എടുത്തു മറ്റാം. എടുത്തുമാറ്റാന്‍ ചെല്ലുമ്പോള്‍ ദുര്‍ഗന്ധമുണ്ടാകുന്നത് സ്വാഭാവികം. ഈ പട്ട് എടുത്തു മാറ്റുന്ന പണി ചിലര്‍ക്ക് `മഞ്ഞ`ത്തരമായി ചിലര്‍ക്കു തോന്നുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ആ മഞ്ഞത്തരം തെറ്റെല്ലന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ കരുതുന്നു.

കഥകളിയുടെ ആസ്വാദനംഅവസാനമെഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന കഥകളിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരാമര്‍ശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചാണിത്.
� കോട്ടയ്ക്കല്‍ ശിവരാമന് പ്രായമായി, വേഷഭംഗി കുറയുമെന്നത് നേര്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ദമയന്തി, സൌന്ദര്യസങ്കല്പങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിരക്കുന്നതല്ല. സ്വരം നന്നായിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പാട്ടു നിര്‍ത്തുന്നതാണ്, ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള നിരീക്ഷകരുടെ വിമര്‍ശനം വരാതിരിക്കുവാന്‍ നന്ന്.
� എന്നാല്‍ കഥകളിയില്‍, കഥാപാത്രമായി വേഷമിടുന്നവരുടെ സൌന്ദര്യം ഒരു ഘടകം മാത്രമാണ് എന്ന വസ്തുത വിസ്മരിക്കുവാന്‍ പാടുള്ളതല്ല. സ്ഥായിയുണ്ടാവണം, മുദ്രകള്‍ ശരിയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിവുണ്ടാവണം, പാത്രബോധമുണ്ടാവണം, പുരാണബോധമുണ്ടാവണം, താളമുണ്ടാവണം, താളത്തിനൊത്തും പാട്ടിന്റെ സാഹിത്യത്തിനൊത്തും മുദ്രവിന്യസിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിവുണ്ടാവണം, അരങ്ങുബോധമുണ്ടാവണം, കൂട്ടുവേഷവുമായി മാനസികമായി സംവേദിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിവുണ്ടാവണം - ഇങ്ങിനെ പലതിലും ശിവരാമന്‍ സമകാലീനരായ സുന്ദരീദമയന്തിവേഷങ്ങളേക്കാള്‍ മുന്നിലായതുകൊണ്ടാണ്, ആസ്വാ‍ദകര്‍ വേഷസൌന്ദര്യം മോശമായാലും ശിവരാമന്റെ ദമയന്തി മതിയെന്നു കരുതുന്നത്.
� മാധ്യമലേഖകര്‍ വേണ്ടരീതിയില്‍ വിലയിരുത്താറില്ല എന്നതും സത്യം. കലാമണ്ഡലം ഗോപി നളനായും കോട്ടയ്ക്കല്‍ ശിവരാമന്‍ ദമയന്തിയായും വേഷമിട്ടാല്‍ മാത്രം നളചരിതം മികച്ചതാവില്ല! അവര്‍ വേഷമിടുന്ന അരങ്ങുകളെല്ലാം �ബലേ, ഭേഷ്!� എന്നു പറയേണ്ടതുമില്ല. പക്ഷെ, അങ്ങിനെവരുമ്പോള്‍, ഈ കഥകളിയരങ്ങുകളെല്ലാം സശ്രദ്ധം വീക്ഷിച്ച് തുടര്‍ച്ചയായെഴുതേണ്ടിവരുഅം. എങ്കിലല്ലേ വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതില്‍ അര്‍ത്ഥമുള്ളൂ? അതിന് കഴിയുമോ ഈ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്?

In every reader's mindMirror Scan revolutionise criticism and language. These criticisms were in everyone's mind but cannot express because of fear or lack of argument or lack of media support. Everyone who work in political field do know that the intelluctuals like Sara Joseph were real frods and they have vested interests in their activities. As Mr Sasidharan says, their presence in every agitation dilute it. The protests of locals against Smart City and Vallarppadam projects were good examples. These persons dilute these agitations to formal conventions as Sasidharan says. This is real prostitution. Cell themselves for something. Sasidharan's comparison to this activity is superb. I wonder about his knowledge areas and his minute readings in every subject. I also appreciate Puzha.com. It was clear that Puzha didnot interefere in this column and give complete freedom for expression. This is real model of media ethics.

I personaly like the malayalam langauage and read the books and magazines even now after the 17 years of migration. It doesn't mean that my conscious level still act as a language fanatic.The love for "own" language always stood there with the English. The English language always act as a common medium language in all circumstances

Secondly as a state and its economy depends on money order remittances from other states/countries could never possible to stick to the "only" vernacular language culture. But the people have to think in realistic way combined with a balanced approach rather than making "our first or your first" attitude.

HypocricyThe problem with pinarayi and his sons education in England is not that of corruption alone. Its a matter of naked hypocricy. Here SFI pulls out all arguments against self financing colleges and their right to have freedom to choose students to hilt and go on strikes and hartals over it...continuously . and the leader of their party sends his son to Amrita ( self financing..pinarayi) and Gkulam Gopalan's ( another self financing..this time by Vasavan MLA). SFI and CPM opposes entry of foriegn university in India to hilt and sends their own sons and daughters to Foriegn universities citing better academic environment... and the fools...the SFI rank and file ....still follows the clever SFI and CPM leaders in their pursuit for political power

ഇംഗ്ലീഷിനെക്കാള്‍, കേരളസംസ്ക്കാരത്തിനെയും മലയാളഭാഷയെയും കീഴടക്കുന്നത് ഹിന്ദിയും അതോടൊപ്പം എത്തുന്ന വ്യത്യാസങ്ങളുമല്ലേ? എന്നുമുതലാണ്‌ �ശ്രീകുമാരന്‍� �ശ്രീകുമാര്‍� ആയതെന്ന് നാമെല്ലാം ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത് നന്ന്. അത്തരം സാംസ്ക്കാരികവിധേയത്വത്തിനെതിരെ നാം മലയാളികളെ ബോധവല്‍ക്കരിക്കണം.

ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പഠിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടത് നിലനില്‍പ്പിന്റെ കാര്യമാണ്. വിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും കച്ചവടത്തിന്റെയും ആധുനികഭാഷ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് തന്നെയാണ്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്‌മീഡിയത്തില്‍ പഠിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു പ്രശ്നമുണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല. മലയാളത്തെ ഒരു പ്രധാനവിഷയമായി പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലാണ് നാം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടത്‌.

�ആമലമലര് �കരുണാകരന്റെ കഥ വളരെ മനോഹരമായിരുന്നു. പെണ്ണും പിടക്കോഴിയുമില്ലാതെ മരുഭൂമിയില് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടുപോകുന്ന പുരുഷന്റെ പരിച്ഛേദനമായിരുന്നു അത്. കഥ തീര്‍ന്നിട്ടും അലിയും ചന്തുവും ആനദിയും ഫാത്തിമയും തത്തയും ഒട്ടകവും കമ്പിളിപ്പുതപ്പും മനസില് നീണ്ടുകിടന്നു. എന്നാല് ശശിധരണ്ണന് അതിനുള്ള പ്രശംസയെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചത് ഒട്ടും ഉചിതമായ ഇടത്തല്ല. അളിഞ്ഞു പുളഞ്ഞ തീട്ടത്തിനുമേല് (പഴുത്ത മലയാളം) ഒരു പനിനീര്‍പൂവിനെ എടുത്തുവച്ചപോല് . �ചത്തു മലര്‍ന്നു കിടക്കുന്ന തീട്ടമേ ഒരു ചുവന്ന പുഷ്പം!!�

preconceived criticismEven though i dont agree with Mr Sasidharan to the full,we cannot just shut out our scruples against the issues which was raised here by the author[his Filthy language aside].The author is trying to potray himself as a cult figure by spitting out X-rated abusive language to make some points.It creates pathos amongst the readers to see Mr sasidharan is trying hard unsuccessfully to make a zeal to expect more from him when we go downwards from the top.One should need grits to strip off some respected figures in the middle of the crowd.But if you have enough talent,then you dont need to depend to the 3rd rate vellicating, scurrilous language for doing the given job.The so-called criticism.Mr Sasidharan's language resembles to that of to the titillating magazines which aims specially at the mentally sick people who finds agitation by reading dirty stories !!It is high time for Mr sadisharn to realise that his language and style are not creating any waves among the readers,but instead it is forcing out reader to skip this mirrorscan wihout reading.Mrs sara Joseph is a faux person, there is no doubt in it.But to despoil her fake credentials of being a FEMINIST,you should have used more decent language.Puzha should not allow its authors to dodge from its original excogitation..

WonderfulMy friend send this column to me. I read all chapters in onesitting. It is real wonder to me. Firstly in Kerala no one dare to comment critically any idiols like azheekode, sara joseph,Mammootty and so on. The malayaless are big worshippers of every images either they may be real worthy or not. Mirror scan attack such personalities. So this column got more attack than appreciations. Anyhow as he says, no one can refute his arguments. they are 101% facts. He touches vast areas from politics to Kathakali. Wonderful. he create a new style of language. The language from our nacked life. We didnot like to be nacked so we feel little shyness to read this. But his invention is great. Every of his word go directly to the stuff of the subject. Any of his usage can be said unparlamentary. Someone feel like that because this is a new language.
