I read the short story "Mudiyattam Annya Makiyathu" and found it extreamely crafty. It was a great visual journey and a very memorable experiance. The portrayal of the city and the disturbing culture is outstanding. But recently I happened to see the same story (I think the copyright is still held by Puzha.com) published in another bi-monthly magazine. So I was a bit curious to know, have you given the permission to publish it in any other magazine? Otherwise the magazine has really insulted the creation and violated all the ethics and values. I can send you the scanned copy of the magzine if you wish to see. Thanks and Regards,
Shyam

He suggests, Mammootty has no gift of an actor. How foolish he is to write that way? That itself shows how to rate Sasi.
Now, why this pro BJP-RSS people dont like anybody comment about Gujarath?

Whether government can enter church adminsation and related matters in similar way. In church also, similar "punnyaham" ( Mammodeesa)is doing, for other religious people. The only difference is that in Hindu system the "punnyaham" is doing in temple premises, and in church they are doing to human being. In Hindu system there is no conversion, so we cannot do their function in our custom. similarly in church there is no idol, so that they have no requirement of "punnyaham". BOTH PLACE PUNNYHAM IS DOING.

First of all I asking puzha.com's attitude towards, temple belief and Brahmin community.
Today most of the medias and individuals are commending the Brahmin community and their customs for gaining cheap popularity.
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING THINGS BEFORE WRITING ANY ARTICLE RELATED TEMPLES AND THE BRAHMIN PRESIT.
1. Recent Supreme courts order saying that non-believing people can administer the temple administration. This order has created all the problems. This wrong judgment has impacted lot of troubles in the mind of temple believing people, and Mr. Sudhakaran like persons got Devaswam minister post and playing dirty things. How a non-believing person can give guidance to the temple things. My question is whether supreme court will agree to hold any important post like Prime minister and President those who have not believing the Indian constitution. In the present setup LDF government cannot do any good things, related to the temple custom, promoting people to temple visit, temple belief etc.
2. My humble request to the Hon. Supreme court has to change this order.
3. Temple administrator, (Devaswam chief) should be a temple believer, and be a Hindu scholar and who can only guide and question the bottom level people like Priest and Thanthri. It is like a research organization should be chaired by a scientist and not by a political leader.

The current middle aged or younger generations from Kerala has come through a childhood where they never visited a pub; they were not familiar with partying and enjoying life. But while migrating to the cities (for higher studies or for job) they were forced to be part of all these city lifestyle. Most of us will approach things with a predetermined attitude - what ever we experienced in villages (or our home town) is good and whatever happening in city life, which we never experienced in our life, are bad.
Come out from this predetermined attitude and try to approach things with a fresh mindset then you can enjoy dancing with your friends in a pub. You should also be matured enough to distinguish what you need and what you want to avoid, but dont consider what you are avoiding are the bad things in this world. There are people who can enjoy those and let them enjoy. I couldnt find anything bad in this world.
The theme of the story is good; most of us working in cities were gone through these stages but this is the first time Im reading a story on this subject. Good work.

I have read your article in puzha.com it was really fantastic and courageous piece of writing. The periodicals in Malayalam has become trash due to various reasons, now paying 10-12 rupees for them is real waste. I admit your courage to attack almost everybody where even the established writers like Mukundan etc are greasing palms and foot of everyone and anyone for their survival.
But the real problem we are facing is the lack of new writers still our old warhorses are contributing even though they dont think their days are over. Retirement should be made compulsory in literature too. But where is the young generation?
Only very few people talented comes out. Most of them go after complicated malayalam usages which alienates readers. Most of them have no 'anubhavam'to write a novel or even a novellete.
So what these editors can do? ella rengaththum varalcha aanu keralathil, politics nokkoo aaranu oru promising newcomer, films nokkoo compared to Tamil what new idea is coming here, still Ms dance with 18 aged heroines.
Anyway I congratulate you for writing such a brave article

I agree if Mammootty was concerned about the overall well being and harmony among a society, he would not have depended on a single volatile issue like gujrat to make his point. after all he is an artist! So, Here is an advice for Mammootty then. This is what you should have said. Since 1947, malayalees being living in harmony for ever! Therefore My fellow muslims, let's continue to be part of it.
But if he dare to bring gujrat, then he is a coward to run away from Kashmir. Also he is putting the onus of democracy back on the shoulders of few folks, just like what that writter who ran away from bangladesh said Thank you!
